Opening:
* Lunch tickets are placed in their pockets (students choose
their lunch choices.
* Lunch choices are counted and money is collected.
* Homework is collected in basket.
* Attendance is taken (at 8:05).
* Morning Message is read.
* We review the daily schedule.
* Spelling Lesson occurs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Fridays.
Closing:
* Notices and notes going home are passed to students (if they
haven't already been placed in their cubbies).
* Students get all of their papers from their cubbies (notices,
homework, other work, etc.).
* The first bell is for those students that take a bus.
* The second bell is for those: walking, being picked up, or
riding their bikes.
Specials:
* Monday: Physical Education
* Tuesday: Art
* Wednesday: Physical Education
* Thursday: Library
* Friday: Music
Homeroom:
* Is when writing, science, and social studies are taught.
* This is also a time when activities happen connected to these
academic areas.
