Technology at Central School Mrs. Kane, Mrs. Durand, and Mrs. Smith gave a presentation to the Rockingham School Board on January 17th about the use of technology in the classrooms at Central School. If you were to visit CES, you would see Smart Boards being used for Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and just about any other topic that is taught at school! Students are using netbooks to access online resources for new learning and to reinforce
skills, and presentations are being created by students using an array of software and hardware. Teachers are also using technology in increased ways to track the progress of students and to differentiate instruction so that each student can receive lessons at the appropriate level of understanding and difficulty for him or her. |
