Approve September Minutes – We reviewed meeting minutes from September 15th.
? Discussed Ice cream social event, Mrs I was a bit concerned with the flow/chaos during the event. Suggestions of craft for next time to keep children busy or spotters for the rock climbing wall.
? Food Service committee is meeting on 11/2 at 3:30pm at the High School.
? Dismissal seems to be running a bit smoother with the staggered time release. Misty spoke with the town regarding lining the side street with parking spots and the town said that we’d have to have a petition signed by the neighbors to allow this to happen. Playground Maintenance is the school responsibility not the town. The town does however own the property the playground is located on.
Financial Report: Sonia reviewed the financial report and Genevieve’s was a success, a deposit was made in the amount of $8,000 so after we pay Genevieve’s Sonia will let us know the profit. Hope Brissette is checking schedule, but hopes to be able to volunteer to deliver the fundraiser to the classes on November 19th, but we do need additional volunteers, please contact Misty if you can do this.

Bruce asked for thoughts on placement of a new shed for the school. Suggested areas were by the cafeteria/gymnasium or the George St side of the school in the back corner. Some parents asked to have the shed placed on the house property that was just purchased for the school, Bruce mentioned that it was not finalized as of yet.
Kathy Tretler asked about the maintenance of the back lot and who’s in charge of that, it is not being taken care of and is dangerous. Bruce explained it is the schools responsibility, however the staff is split between two buildings, Central and the SU office so it makes it difficult.
Joe Brissette came to the meeting as a member of the board and asked if parents had any questions for him. He also reviewed the plan for the BFMS project and informed us of the next meeting.
