My name is Kathy Michel. I am the librarian at Central Elementary School and Saxtons River School. I have been the librarian at Central School for 18 years. Before coming to Central School, I was the Children’s Librarian at the Springfield Town Library. I love libraries, children and books. I can’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. Our beautiful new Central School library is a place where I hope children feel welcomed and comfortable choosing books, asking questions, searching for information. Parents and friends are always welcome to drop in the library to borrow books, find out what books your child has checked out, and suggest any ideas you might have to make the library even better. We are lucky to have such a beautiful space for our children, teachers and families to share!
